HND LANSCAPE

This course is intended for students who passed a National Diploma in landscape gardening or A levels.
Its aim is to be in line with the recent evolutions of the craft. Professionals now manage private or public gardens as well as wide landscaped areas.

Landscape foreman : technical and financial management of works

Technician in a landscape gardening company (garden maintenance)

Landscape designer assistant

Maintenance and development of places of historical interest

HND landscape gardening curriculum

Two-year full time course. Technical, scientific and humanities such as foreign languages, economics and French.

The practicals are carried out around the college and in different companies.

Second-year studies from practical examples leading to written reports :

Landscape gardening, study of works from beginning to end : 90 hours

Garden design : 90 hours

One-week special studies : water resources, terraces…120 hours

 

Work placements :

Three months in a landscape gardening company, garden design company.

Placements abroad are very appreciated in the curriculum. The students will be asked to write a report as an important part of their exam (oral presentation)
